Our ongoing mission. What started out as an idea over lunch at Macy*s has become a fully formed resident community orchestra that is comprised of accomplished and engaged senior citizens, making classical music available to a wide audience through free concerts, and enriching New York City's cultural life. Amanda Tant is the orchestra director at Hendersonville Middle and Hendersonville High Schools. Ms. Tant’s students receive consistent excellent and superior ratings at state and local competitions.
